PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

OCTOBER 1, 2007 at 6:00 PM
UNAPPROVED/UNOFFICIAL MINUTES


1. Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Chairman
Langmesser. Present: Langmesser, Ranke, Gerard, Derse, Sohr, Szeklinski
and Residents. Schmidt was absent.

2. Chairman Langmesser led the Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Commissioner Derse motioned to approve the September 4, 2007 meeting
minutes as written, seconded by Commissioner Szeklinski. Motion carried.

4. Correspondence- None

5. Shore land Contract Report- None

6. Forth Coming Events- None

Commissioner Gerard motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:03 PM, seconded
by Commissioner Ranke. Motion carried.

TOWN BOARD MEETING FOR WATERFORD

APPROVED/OFFICIAL MINUTES FOR OCTOBER 8, 2007

6:00 PM AT TOWN HALL

1. Town Board meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Chairman Langmesser. Present: Gauerke, Baumgart, Block, Kacmarcik, and residents of the Town. Attorney Dubis was excused.

2. Chairman Langmesser led the Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Printed Minutes: Baumgart motioned to approve the Town Board meeting minutes dated September 10, 2007, seconded by Block. Motion carried.

4. Treasurer Report/Payment of Claims- Kacmarcik motioned to approve the claims as presented, seconded by Block. Motion carried. Langmesser read the treasurer’s report.

5. Correspondence: Langmesser commented on the DOT meeting that he attended. Local municipal governments will be calling for an intergovernmental meeting.

6. Committee Reports:

(a) Police Dept. Report- Langmesser introduced the new chief, Tom Ditscheit. Ditscheit reported 507 calls and contacts for the month of September. Ditscheit also commented that 12 youths have been implicated in the rash of damage done to Rivermoor Country Club as well as stolen cars.

(b) Waterford Waterways Management District- Ted Derse commented on the pontoon class, that 174 students attended as well as local officials.

(c) Park- No report

(d) Road Dept.- Langmesser reported that road work is completed.

(e) Town Planning Recommendations-

· Gauerke noted that there was nothing on the planning commission meeting from October 1, 2007.

7. Old Business:

(a) Appoint Commissioner for the Town of Waterford to Southeastern WI Fox River Commission- Langmesser appointed Shelley Tessmer on a temporary basis.

(b) Tichigan Fire Dept. Company Contract- Kacmarcik noted that some verbiage needs to be changed. Dubis to review the changes and the contract to go before Garrett Forkner for approval.

8. New Business:

(a) Bartenders Licenses- None

(b) Wind Lake Volunteer Fire Contract- Kacmarcik noted that she had met with Tom Dachowski, the new president of WLVFC. Garrett Forkner noted that he had a problem with item 1 (d) of the proposed contract, where by it is stated “Services shall also include mutual aid response by fire departments from surrounding communities to assist WLVFC…” Dubis to review and Clerk will contact Tom Dachowski regarding this section. Block motioned to refer to Attorney Dubis for review and clarification of 1 (d), seconded by Kacmarcik. Motion carried.

(c) Appointment to “Safe Routes to School” Taskforce- Langmesser appointed Supervisor Mary Kacmarcik to this committee. Baumgart motioned to accept this appointee, seconded by Gauerke. Motion carried.

(d) Animals in Building- Langmesser indicated that this matter had already been addressed.


Forthcoming events- Duane Luick, 28904 Beach Dr., thanked Supervisors Block and Gauerke for their persistence in resolving the situation with The Woods of Stillwater.

Gauerke motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 PM, seconded by Block. Motion carried.
