TOWN OF WATERFORD SANITARY DISTRICT NO. 1

UNOFFICIAL / UNAPPROVED MINUTES

June 08, 2005

Commissioner Ciesielski called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.

Present: Commissioners Ciesielski, Hinz and Pisarski
Absent: None
Also Present: Duane Erickson, Operations Superintendent; Norm Nelson, Operations Assistant; and Debbie Crawford, Administrator

Pisarski motioned to approve the minutes from the May 11, 2005 meeting as printed, second by Hinz. All in favor. Motion carried.

Due to Tamblyn's absence, Ciesielski reported on the WRCSD Special Meeting and Public Hearing held on May 25, 2005 to discuss the district expansion of lands known as Rivers Turn and Rivers Turn Addition #1.

Erickson explained the problem with the roof leaking on the sanitary district garage. Two quotes were obtained to apply a 2" layer of foam insulation to the roof of the garage. Foat submitted a quote in the amount of $13,956 and Frantl Industries quoted $18,380. Discussion ensued. This matter will be held over to July's meeting with a representative asked to be in attendance.

Erickson reported that they are in the process of raising twenty-six (26) manholes for the town.

Correspondence consisted of:

· WRCSD Sewer Use & User Charge System Ordinances
· WRCSD Agenda & Minutes

Accounts payable were approved on a Hinz/Pisarski motion. All in favor. Motion carried.

Pisarski motioned to adjourn to closed session as noticed at 5:13 p.m., second by Hinz. Roll call of Commissioners: Hinz aye, Pisarski aye, and Ciesielski aye. All in favor. Motion carried.

Pisarski motioned to return to open session at 5:17 p.m., second by Hinz. Roll call of Commissioners: Pisarski aye, Hinz aye, and Ciesielski aye. All in favor. Motion carried.

Hinz motioned to approve and sign the employee contract between the Town of Waterford Sanitary District No. 1 and Sanitary District Operations Assistant, second by Pisarski. All in favor. Motion carried.

Pisarski motioned to adjourn at 5:19 p.m., second by Hinz. All in favor. Motion carried.
