TOWN OF WATERFORD SANITARY DISTRICT NO. 1

July 14, 2005

Commissioner Ciesielski called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.

Present: Commissioners Ciesielski, Hinz and Pisarski
Absent: None
Also Present: Lynn Tamblyn, WRCSD; Attorney Christopher Geary; Duane Erickson, Operations Superintendent; and Debbie Crawford, Administrator

Pisarski motioned to approve the minutes from the June 08, 2005 meeting as printed, second by Hinz. All in favor. Motion carried.

Tamblyn reminded the Commissioners that the issue of the pavilion at Jensen Park not being in the sanitary sewer service area needs to be addressed.

Attorney Geary answered questions pertaining to the proposed WRCSD Sewer Use Ordinance and User Charge System Ordinance the Commissioners received at last months meeting for their review. These ordinances were presented to the Commissioners so they would have an opportunity to see what WRCSD was proposing and decide whether they would like to have these ordinances directly incorporated into our ordinances word for word as a separate section or incorporate them as reference so that any changes that WRCSD makes to their ordinances would automatically change ours as well. Discussion ensued on issues that are pertinent to our district ordinances. Attorney Geary will further research some of these issues and report back.

Erickson presented a quote in the amount of $2,500 from C & J Fabricators to repair the roof on the sanitary district garage. The quote is to repair the insulation on roof with 10 foot piece on northeast corner, caulk and replace damaged rubbers on west flashing, remove rubbers on gutters and bend ¼" lip on gutter eave and replace all loose screws with zinc capped screws. Pisarski motioned to accept the quote from C & J Fabricators in the amount of $2,500, second by Hinz. All in favor. Motion carried.

Under O & M Erickson reported that they have repaired a lateral that had separated and caused a small area of Spruce Lane to sink. The part of the road which was damaged has been backfilled and will be paved.

Erickson requested permission to attend the one day Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Seminar on August 11, 2005 costing $15.00. Pisarski motioned to send Erickson to the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Seminar, second by Hinz. All in favor. Motion carried.

Accounts payable were approved on a Hinz/Pisarski motion. All in favor. Motion carried.

Pisarski motioned to adjourn at 5:40 p.m., second by Hinz. All in favor. Motion carried.
